It is Korean, landed in the Infantil A last summer with fellow Jang and football has details of his two idols, Messi and Park.

On Tuesday, up from Manresa, he signed his third hat-trick of the season with FC Barcelona Infantil A. Although sum and 36 goals in 26 games, Korean Lee Seung Woo, front center, is more than a 'killer'. As in 2009 with Paik, midfielder Cadete B, Barça found the player in the second edition of the Copa Catalunya- Korea, organized by the Penya Barcelonista Sant Cugat-Escola of Football Hristo Stoichkov. Lee went to the Korean U-14 and faced the Barça.

His adaptation away from the pitch has been complicated mainly by language, but gradually it is becoming one of the most loved guys teammates and La Masia. Lee is uneasy even has its own twitter account (@ seungwoo_lee9) - and they say that it suffers from something naughty, which has already generated a wake-up call from his coach, Fran Sanchez Bas, and director of the residence, Carles Folguera . A few days ago, for example, copied to Raúl at the Camp Nou and commanded silence the opposing team's parents in the Ciutat Esportiva after scoring a goal.

In football, everything has been easier. The striker has gone from strength to strength. He scored 17 goals in the first fifteen games and now accumulates 19 in the last ten. His team, Infantil A, leads the league by five points with three games against Espanyol at the end, what could crowned champions this weekend if it achieves a better result against the San Gabriel that the blue and white against Gavà.

Guardiola's march doesn't turn off the interest of Barça for David Luiz

From England say that Tito Vilanova is also committed to incorporating the Chelsea center-back, which Barça could make an offer of around 30 million euros.

The technical secretariat of the Barça continues its silent work to strengthen the first team ahead of next season. One name that has sounded stronger in recent months is that of David Luiz, Brazil's center-back Chelsea, who beat Barça's in the semifinals of this season's Champions League.

The information that pointed to the interest of Barcelona for having the powerful defender 'blue' givens originally Guardiola pleased by footballer of its features. However, all indications are that the output of Pep and Tito Vilanova relay should not be a handicap for the interest in the player remains in force at Barça.

In fact, from England, the newspaper 'Daily Mirror' highlights on Thursday that detail, while highlighting that Barça should sell before facing an operation of this magnitude. Chelsea paid about 25 million by the Brazilian and would like to get some economic benefit if he accepts a negotiation. Leao: "No money nor the inclination to lead Guardiola to Brazil"

The ex coach and current coach of Sao Paulo, Émerson Leao, said that "no money nor the inclination" for the Barça coach comes to the direction of the Brazilian team.

"We have no money, desire or need to hire. How many teams he directed?, One? That's the difference," said Leao, who was one of the gatekeepers of the Brazilian national team in the World Cup in Spain in 1982.

In a hypothetical Guardiola arrival of the Brazilian national team, said Leao, Catalan coach will not have time for a process like he did at Barça. "Guardiola in the selection moves to the distance of a Latin and South American country. He has features to manage any team, but to do the same thing, depends on the financial value you have," said the coach at a news conference.

For Leao, Guardiola "only going to get to a new Barcelona in five years and here in six months, one (as coach) succeeds or not."

When visiting Barcelona, Guardiola won 13 titles in 17 tournaments. "Everybody talks about Barcelona, but who won the 'Spanish'? Real Madrid and who will win the Champions League? Neither Real nor Barcelona," Leao questioned.

After the campaign launched on social networks for the eventual arrival of the Brazilian national team Guardiola, ex striker Ronaldo, current member of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) World Cup Brazil 2014, called it "unlikely" recruitment.

However, the former player of Barcelona and Real Madrid on Saturday admitted Folha TV channel that the Spanish coach "would be a technical optimum for any team, even for the Brazilian national team."

The current Brazilian coach, Mano Menezes, will have its trial by fire to continue at the helm in the London Olympics, when Brazil attempt, once again, conquer the unprecedented gold medal. (via SPORT)

PSG, go for Alves

Dani Alves recalls that has a contract until 2015 and warns that only go to a top team that will ensure arrival in Brazil 2014 in full.

The future of Dani Alves is gaining attention. A few days ago there was speculation Anzhi an alleged Russian offer, now comes the turn of the French PSG. Two clásicos that appear day in, day out, all those names associated with front-line for one reason or another can skip to the football market. In a way he repeats what happened with Manchester City.

Since last season, coinciding with arrival of capital Catari, announced the intention to empower a workforce that can compete for all available titles. After a year of transition, waiting to confirm an imminent relief in sports management, PSG is in a position to enforce the weight of his millions to entice players with the profile of Alves. However, as happened with Anzhi, the Blaugrana side environment roundly denies any bid or direct suggestion from PSG French or from Barça.

The sports management Blaugrana displayed the most cautious. While expanding all kinds of rumors placing Alves away from Camp Nou next season, Barça officially silent awaiting the end of the league and dispute the final of the Copa del Rey. Then it's time to dispel doubts. During this transition period itself has recognized the need to define a pair of operations should report significant income to go to market with guarantees attached to a pair of top players.

And this is where Alves seems to have the hours counted. The Brazilian, at 29 years and Montoya waiting their turn, has an excellent international cartel and is not listed with the poster of 'transferable'. His departure is not considered traumatic and income of their transfer itself would provide the basis for a significant budget transfers.

Dani Alves is warned for weeks about the crushing season finale ahead. It is assumed that one of the preferred targets for all kinds of speculation. For now is calm and satisfied with his performance this season. No one has said anything about his future and has ordered his agents not to make the slightest intention to search for possible accommodation away from Barça. He is happy in Barcelona and is in favor of exhausting his contract does not expire until 2015. However, in the case of an output materialize to meet the economic needs of the Barca side has no intention of accepting a transfer to a second-tier club or a league that is not first class much money is at stake.

Alves wants to compete at the highest level and reach fulfillment of conditions in the World Cup Brazil 2014. The player is patient and wait for end of season to the board or the director sports, Andoni Zubizarreta, information on whether the rumors are true or encountered are typical of a market speculation own boiling end of the season. Alves is ready for everything and with an eye to the Premier or the Italian Calcio. (via SPORT)

Pedro: “I’ll continue to work 100% to make the Cup Final”

Although he admitted that he has had “an irregular season, thanks to my injuries”, Pedro is looking for a place in the Cup Final team and insisted:“ I’m back, on the pace and keen to play”

The Spanish forward expressed his thanks to Guardiola, a coach who gave him the chance to” live the dream of playing for the first team”

Since Pep brought him into the first team, Pedro has had a great impact, but injuries have really limited him this season and he admitted: “it’s been a really irregular season with my injuries, but now I’m back, on the pace, getting my confidence back and keen to play . We’re all working to prepare the Final and take the Cup. I’ll continue to work 100% to make the Cup Final”. Pedro is also keen to make the Spanish squad for this summer’s European Championships in Poland and the Ukraine.

Guardiola’s departure is especially sad for Pedro, who was given his big start by the boss and speaking at his press conference after training this lunchtime he said: “I want to thank him for everything he’s taught me and for giving me the chance to live the dream of playing for the first team. I wish him all the best. It was a painful thing for us and nobody expected it, but it’s a decision we have to respect”. Pedro also revealed that the team want to win the Cup in order to” dedicate it to Guardiola Abidal, Villa and Fontàs”.

Pedro was also asked about the appointment of Tito Vilanova and he explained: “it’s great news, we’re right behind him and hope for the best for him. His ideas are very similar to Pep’s. I think it’s good for the team”.

Finally, Pedro congratulated Real Madrid who were proclaimed champions after winning at San Mames last night, whilst admitting: “there have been some decisions this season that have harmed us – but that’s got nothing to do with the final result”. (via FCBarcelona.cat)

Camp Nou express its gratitude to Guardiola

The public has repeatedly praised Guardiola, who returned the samples with a gesture of support in the stands.

Pinto: “This team has a winning mentality”

Pinto stressed the great competitive attitude that the team have always shown, even now when their league hopes are over.

The keeper admitted that it’s tough to come back into the starting line up after two months on the bench, but explained: “the key thing is that I have continued training as I always do and that has helped me maintain my concentration”.

Pep Guardiola confirmed earlier this week that Pinto would be between the sticks for every game that’s left this season to give him game time ahead of the Cup final on May 25th and after he played the full 90 minutes at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night, he spoke to the Barça TV programme 'El Marcador'. He explained: “it’s good to play - that’s what makes a player feel good, being out there. I like to be able to help the team from on the pitch, rather than off it, which is usually my role and is also important”.

Pinto has always maintained the same hard working attitude regardless of whether he was on the bench or playing: “I have continued training as I always do and that has helped me maintain my concentration”.

That concentration and commitment is also there from his teammates, there’ll be no relaxation even if the title is now out of their reach: “this team have a winning attitude. We will still be competitive, even if there is nothing at stake”. Pinto also knows that the game time he’s getting will hold him in good stead for the Cup Final: “we are preparing each game very intensively, with our perspective very much on the Final”.

Pinto and Valdés give everything in training and on the pitch and that’s been a vital part in their growth as keepers and Pinto explained that they both work hard to outdo the other: “we have a healthy rivalry, which helps us both”. (via FCBarcelona.com)

Xavi back in training with the squad

The Catalan midfielder has missed the last two games with a calf injury, but he was back training with the rest of the squad at the Ciutat Esportiva this lunchtime.

The players who figured against Malaga had a gentle session, whilst Piqué again trained apart from the rest of the group.

B team players Tello, Bartra, Montoya and Oier also took part in the session, as did Samper, Bagnack, Ernesto and Quesada from the Youth team.

Xavi Hernández’s return after missing the games against Rayo and Malaga with a calf injury, was the main talking point at the session, with the players who figured last night going through a less demanding workout, whilst the rest of the squad began preparations for Saturdays’ derby game at the Camp Nou and Gerard Piqué again trained apart.

The Barça B players at the session, Tello, Bartra, Montoya and Oier, were joined by four Youth A team players Samper, Bagnack, Ernesto and Quesada, who were playing in the Champions Cup at Lepe on Monday before losing to Espanyol in the quarter finals. (via FCBarcelona.com)

[Barça B] Tello would cheapen the signing of Adrián or Jordi Alba

Barça following the '9' rojiblanco and the full-back 'che' and the winger likes Atlético and Valencia.

Barça 'post Guardiola' begins to take shape. Two of the players with more projection of la Liga interest to coaching staff azulgrana as possible reinforcements of squad 2012-2013.

As has been reporting on time MD, Jordi Alba and Adrián López are two names underlined in red on the agenda culé for their youth, quality and projection, but as has also been pointed out from this newspaper are, today, the first options portfolio transfers.

There is a technical explanation and a market valuation that explain this approach. The first depends on how curdling other operations. The second thing that negotiations are economically reasonable. And that is where Cristian Tello. The winger of the cantera culé love both Atlético and Valencia as it can be an asset to be exploited for Barça.

The situation at Barça Tello explains his hook on the market, almost as much as their promising interventions in the first team this season, which has exhibited destabilizing speed.

Tello is under contract with the club azulgrana until 2013 only, the tab remains subsidiary and player status, despite being very common in the first team.

All these conditions are a powerful claim for clubs such as Atlético, Valencia and Liverpool, as our colleague Miguel Rico moved yesterday followed in his back.

Barça, meanwhile, can suddenly have common interests with Valencia and Atlético. In Mestalla, Jordi Alba knows that Barça's first choice to reinforce the left is Gareth Bale.

If the signing of Welsh is not possible (which is not easy) it would be the nominee if agreed upon with Valencia an output less than 15 million, even assuming him sign his renewal.

In Calderón, Adrián has a contract buyout clause of 18 million euros, too much for Barça. So Tello may end up as the big wild card for grabs at a negotiation with a clear order to lower prices, either Valencia or with Atlético, club a week ago and moved its threads by azulgrana. (via MD)

[Barça B] Bartra, debut this season in Liga

The minutes he played last night Marc Bartra was the first playing the young canterano in la Liga this season. The center-back had not yet had the opportunity to jump into the grass in this competition despite the fact that Pep Guardiola has had some calls and in many training sessions with the first team.

Bartra replaced Carles Puyol midway through the second half and went off without any problems. The canterano is one of the players who almost certainly will rise to the first team next season. Tito Vilanova is the coach next season that plays into a central defender who has shown a great future. (via MD)

Keita can cheapen Silva

After four seasons, Keita could leave Barça this summer to San Siro.

The Malian Seydou Keita is not having much emphasis this season and therefore leave Barça raises enjoy more minutes. The midfielder is a lover of football and the economic issue is not a priority for him, so his decision was based on sporting criteria.

In fact, their representatives are already in Barcelona to discuss with the club about a possible change of scenery. And in this sense with power resumes Milan's interest in acquiring his services, club leading African months behind. The Rossoneri entity already tried in summer and winter market in the past, but always met with refusal Keita.

And this potential transaction reappears name Thiago Silva, the plan to strengthen the Blaugrana central defender ahead of the first season of Tito Vilanova in the dugout. The Brazilian center recently renewed its contract with the entity 'Rossoneri' until June 2016 and the asking price is quite high, so Seydou Keita could serve to lower the transfer. (via SPORT)

Leo Messi breaks Müller's longstanding record of 67 goals scored in one season

The Argentine genius, with a hat-trick this Wednesday against Málaga, broke Gerhard Müller’s historic record of 67 goals scored in one season.

Messi has scored 46 in La Lige, 14 in the Champions League, 3 in the Spanish Super Cup, 2 in the King’s Cup, 2 in the Club World Cup and 1 in the European Super Cup.

Müller scored 67 goals: 26 in the League, 7 in the Cup, 12 in the League Cup and 12 in the European Cup.

Messi is the 'Torpedo' of the 21st century. The Argentine genius broke Gerhard Müller's record of 67 goals scored in a single season set in the 1972/73 season. In 1973, the German striker netted 67 goals for Bayern Munich in four different competitions: 26 in the League, 7 in the Cup, 12 in the League Cup and 12 in the European Cup. The ‘Torpedo’ Müller averaged 1.37 goals per game that season (49 matches).

39 seasons later, Messi scored 68 goals in 57 matches (1.19 goals per game). The Argentine has scored in every competition that FC Barcelona has contested this season: 46 in La Lige, 14 in the Champions League, 3 in the Spanish Super Cup, 2 in the King’s Cup, 2 in the Club World Cup and 1 in the European Super Cup.

Messi has the chance to increase his goal-scoring tally as FC Barcelona have three more matches to play (Espanyol, Betis and Athletic Club) before the end of the season. (via FCBarcelona.com)

The highest goal-scoring Barça in Club history

With 108 goals scored so far, Barça have broken their all-time goal-scoring record in La Liga, which was set at 105 goals in the 2008/09 season.

A total of 15 players have scored at least one goal in the team’s 108 haul.

It was one of the remaining objectives the team set for itself before the end of the Liga and this Wednesday they achieved it. With tonight’s four goals against Málaga, Barça have scored a total of 108 goals this season and beat the record they set in Guardiola’s first season on the Barça bench. The treble-winning Barça team scored 105 goals in 38 La Liga matches, with Eto’o as the team’s top scorer with 30 goals.

This year, with an insatiable Messi, Barça have scored 108 goals in 36 matches. It’s yet another example of the team’s capacity and attitude. Not counting Guardiola’s first and last seasons, only Bobby Robson’s Barça were able to break the century goal mark. It was in the 1996/97 season, Ronaldo was Barça’s target man, the team ended the season with 102 goals in 42 matches.

Guardiola’s team have notched up four of the best six goal marks in Club history in La Liga. In the 2009/10 season Barça scored 98 goals and in 2010/11, 95. Besides Robson’s Barça, only Herrera’s team is in the top-six ranking with 96 goals in 30 matches. It was in the 1958/59 season and Evaristo, with 20 goals, was the team’s top goal scorer.

A total of 15 players have scored at least one goal in the team’s overall 108. Messi has scored the most, with 46 goals, but we cannot overlook Alexis’ 12, Xavi’s 10 or Cesc’s 9. Furthermore, Perdo and Villa have scored five, Tello and Puyol, three. Alves, Piqué, Iniesta, Thiago, Keita and Cuenca all have two apiece. Adriano has scored one, Miranda and Robersio socred own goals. (via FCBarcelona.com)

[Lifa BBVA; Week20] FC Barcelona 4 - 1 Málaga

Puyol opened the scoring before Rondon equalised on the half hour mark.

Two Messi penalties assured another Barça win.

The Argentinean passed Gerd Muller’s record with his third goal.

The crowd repeatedly cheered Guardiola on during the game.

When Messi is on the pitch, entertainment is guaranteed and his hat trick tonight, together with Puyol’s opener, gave Barça a big win against Malaga, a team who are pushing for a Champions League place themselves. It was a clear win for Barça who made a great start with a goal from Puyol , only for Rondon to equalise with a header, but that was just the prologue for Leo Messi to step up and take control, with another hat trick from the world number one.

The Argentinean has now scored 68 goals this season and that is one more than Gerd Müller who held the previous record for goals scored in a season, whilst the team also beat their own record for a season, with 108 so far.

Messi had to share the limelight with Josep Guardiola of course, after his resignation announcement last Friday and the boss was showered with support from the Camp Nou crowd throughout the whole game.

Barça were in charge from the off and although they didn’t reach the pace they often do, they did enough to dominate and were soon threatening the Malaga goal. Despite an attempt from a free kick by Duda that hit the woodwork, it was Barça who opened the scoring with a Puyol header from an Iniesta cross.

Malaga needed the points though if they were to maintain their Champions League challenge and Rondon brought them level with a similar goal to Barça’s, heading in a Gamez cross from the right past Pinto, who was again in the starting line up in preparation for the Cup Final. Iniesta – who was Barça’s outstanding player in the first half- set up a quick reply when he was brought down in the box, allowing Leo Messi to score his first of the night from the spot.

The second half belonged to Messi – first scoring another penalty to make it 3-1 after Duda had brought him down as he was just about to finish off a great team move and then, as Malaga pushed forward to get back into the match, racing onto a lovely ball from Iniesta and flicking the ball over Kameni to beat Muller’s previous record in spectacular fashion.

Guardiola took advantage of the comfortable lead to bring on B team youngster Bartra and Afellay, following his comeback at Rayo. (via FCBarcelona.com)
