Valdès: "We'll be back in force next year"

The keeper says that the team is looking forward to next season with optimism and that he’s happy with his fifth Zamora trophy.

The players are mentally preparing for the final of the King’s Cup against Athletic Club.

After the game against Betis, the Barça players concur that the team will be completely focused on the last match of the season. Víctor Valdés said that the team is eager and preparing for the final match of the year and he sent an optimistic message regarding next season. “We hope to win the Cup. This season two important titles have slipped away, but we’ll be back as strong as ever next year,” he said.

After drawing with Betis at the Benito Villamarín in the last game of the Liga (2-2), the Valdés’ team-mates congratulated the keeper on winning the Zamora trophy, given to the keeper that concedes the least amount of goals in the competition. The Catalan player said that it is more important win than concede goals.
