One of the key pieces of Pep Team, fitness coach Lorenzo Buenaventura, has practically decided his farewell, while Juan Carlos Unzué, goalkeepers coach, also meditates on his way.
Buenaventura's farewell is not totally tied to Pep. During the season Cádiz, one of the most prestigious coaches in Spanish football, had been dropped at some time the possibility of returning home for personal reasons after four years in Barcelona. Guardiola's march, however, has given more reasons to make the decision.
Falling Loren, as you know the dress is much more important than at first you might think. It started in Cádiz and then worked for Valladolid, Espanyol, Atlético and for Argentina in the World Cup in Korea and Japan 2002. He returned to Cádiz where he received worldwide cracks and where rejected offers you the best teams presented themselves, until in 2008 Guardiola, advised by Dr. Ramon Cugat, persuaded him to sign for Barça. Bonaventure was during these four years the head of physical preparation of the first team, in coordination with the 'maestro' Paco Seirul · lo and Aureli Altimira.
The reasons that drive Unzué to meditate his resignation are diverse and complex. On the one hand, his desire to regain his status as coach, which premiered last season at Numancia and pulled back to prepare the Barça goalkeeper to replace Carlos Busquets, who last year chose to return to the subsidiary. And secondly, some differences of opinion that have emerged in recent months between Juan Carlos and Víctor Valdés to the preparation of training and match analysis. Unzué decide his future soon.
