[Selection] Abidal comes in the call for France

Eric Abidal still enjoys the confidence of the French coach Laurent Blanc.

Karim Benzema was dropped from the call for France to face Germany in Wednesday's friendly, while first enters the Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano, according to the list unveiled by coach Laurent Blanc.

The decline in the Real Madrid player, injured in the Champions League match against CSKA Moscow and of Marseille Loïc Remy have reopened the gates of the selection of Tottenham attacker Louis Saha, absent since September 2010. Blanc has convened only three strikers, Saha, the Parisian Kevin Gameiro and Montpellier player Olivier Giroud.

But the big surprise of the call was Marseillais Amalfitano, who is well rewarded the great season he is completing his club. Bacary Sagna is still not join the list, despite having returned after a long injury. Blanc remains confident in Marvin Martin, who is completing his best season with Sochaux, like Kevin Gameiro in the PSG. His teammate Guillaume Hoarau, however, again left out.

The list includes Barcelona's Eric Abidal and Adil Rami Valencia. (via SPORT)
