New signings have scored 23% of the team's goals

Cesc, Alexis and Thiago, plus with Fontás, Barça’s newest players this season, have scored 29 of the team’s 124 goals in official matches. Last year’s signings scored 27 goals in the 2010/11 season.

Barça’s signings this season have brought in a lot of goals for the first team. Cesc Fábregas, Alexis Sánchez and Thiago Alcántara - his first year as a first-team player- have scored 23% of the team’s goals (29 of the 124). Cesc has 15, Alexis 11 and Thiago 3. Andreu Fontás also joined the first team this season, but before he could net any goes he sustained a serious injury.

This year’s signings have outscored the players brought in last year. At the end of last season, Villa, Mascherano, Afellay, Adriano and Jeffren netted 27 times, totaling 18% of the team’s goals. (via FCBarcelona.com)
