Barça has seen Bale seven times this season

The British press reveals the club blaugrana moves to probe the incorporation of the Welsh player of Tottenham.

Barca are closely following the footsteps of Gareth Bale, the Tottenham Hotspur left-back who has become one of the objectives of the technical secretariat of the club. Barca's movements to probe the incorporation of the player, unveiled by SPORT, have been confirmed by his own management agency, The Stellar Group. A company spokesman has confirmed that Barça has contacted the agency representative to inquire about the status of the player, as have several European top-level clubs.

In addition, the British press also supports the information published by this newspaper: Several media have confirmed the interest of Barca, translated into several trips to London and via telephone contacts. Barça, through its network of scouts, has continued to live Bale as seven times this season, according to information disclosed by the Daily Mirror. The club blaugrana, in fact, Bale and follows two years, when its price was much more manageable.

Possible negotiations, however, must wait to finish the season. The environment of the player has made it clear that his priority is to complete a good season with his team, ranked third in the Premier and still with options to achieve the league title.

The intention of Tottenham is to get the player auction in late season to get as much money as possible, but Barça is unwilling to enter the bidding to help inflate the price of the transaction. Tottenham will ask no less than 43 million euros, a high figure for Barca. (via SPORT)
